Please read all of the information below prior to registering your team. 

Team registration is a 3-step process:

On the DI site:

1. Team Number purchased from DI at  If you have never purchased anything from DI, you will first have to set up an account.

2. Register on the DI, Inc. site. 

Purchase a team number:

Prior to purchasing your team number, check with your district representative to determine what type of support your school or district provides. Some districts, schools and PTAs provide financial support and have a process to follow. 

Go to to purchase your team number. If you do not have an account, you will be required to set one up. The prices displayed are different from the prices for Texas teams. When you have entered your affiliate (state), the prices in your shopping cart will reflect the contracted state prices.

Team numbers will be emailed following DI's receipt of your payment. A team number may not be shared with another team. If your district purchases your team number, your district coordinator will give you your team number.

Register on the DI site:

After you have received your team number, sign on at and register your team. On this screen, you will be able to select challenges to download. This is also the screen where you will make your final selection of a challenge.
